Left message saying it is "urgent" that they talk to me about lowering the interest rate on "my account."
I don't have any credit cards or other interest-draining accounts.
Ran a check on the number. Turns out they use a series of numbers. Call the number back and hear a not in service recording. Further investigated the number and discovered the call may have originated from a private residence. Apparant farming community. I notified the town clerk of potential fraud. Town is so small I hope I didn't inform a friend or relative of possible PO-LICE action. The caller name need the money (perhaps), but not at the expense of others.
