It seems probable that calls from this number are a scam. They called my business line, and I answered it because it was from an area code I expect to receive calls from. A young sounding woman was on the line and claimed to be calling from whatever company, FPGA Merchant Services or something equally important and vague sounding. She claimed to be calling from my credit card processor, or on behalf of them, and said there was some problem "on the back end". I always assume a call is a scam unless there is COMPELLING reason to believe it's real, so I played ignorant. It ended up sounding like she was attempting to smoothly segue into a sales pitch and when she asked me who my credit card processor was, I knew it was likely a scam.
