Got a call from them.... At 9pm!! Some funky voice automation trying to sell home alarm systems. Guess they didnt like the sound of my dobermans barking in background. Im all set with my home protection thank you. How do these [***] get away with harrassing people, late hours, and on do not call list???
I got a call from them yesterday - a very robotic sounding "Kyle" offered me a "free" security system. I went along and "Kyle" had a tech call me back. I told them my name was BoBo Bolinski (google if you must) and I let them tell me all about the system. I gave them an address in the most dangerous part of town (in fact a fatal shooting took place last night less than a block from the location l gave them) and told them I was interested. I let them set up the appointment for Saturday. When the closer asked if I had any questions I asked why the guy that called before was calling from "Travel Orlando" and was based in Vermont? He said it was a marketing company they use. I then let him know that Kyle had called me no less than 10 time is the previous two weeks and each time was told I was not interested. I gave him fair warning that the next time I have them send a tech to another fake address in a place they don't want to be. I think next time rather than the inner city, I will send them as far out in the boonies as I can. I know it's not the tech's fault - they are just trying to work and feed their families but maybe if they get tired of chasing false leads they will quit or the company will stop using robo callers. Alliance Security has already been sued by the FTC once and fined a hefty amount. Maybe some day they will learn.
Got a call from 802 732 9510 a few minutes ago. No message was left on my answering machine. Caller ID read TRAVEL ORLANDO. I suspect it was a telemarketer trying to sell home security systems.
