I received a call from this number today. It has the same area code and first three digits as my number.
No message was left, so I assume that this is a case of spoofing another phone's number to make me answer the call.
It should also be noted that 1337 used to be popular in video game and internet culture. Using numbers for letters is known as "leet" speak (1 = L, 3 = E, and 7 = T). ; Leet/1337 is shortened from elite as in saying that you're an elite gamer, so it's possible that the four digit portion of the number was chosen as a joke. Or it could be a coincidence.
