Received a call 2 calls today at 8:55 am and 1:10 pm. Both times the guy wanted to sell us a warranty on our new car. The guy hung up the first time. On the second call, my husband told him we already have a extended warranty on the car. Initially the caller asked from some other guy who does not live here, so my husband told him he had a wrong number. The caller then went into his sales pitch for the warranty. When my husband told him to take us off their call list, he said he would just keep calling. My husband repeated to take us off the call list. The caller then just repeated he was going to keep calling and abruptly hung up. We get these types of call repeatedly. Just a pile of c__p! What is the point of having a 'do not call list' when literally every scam artist or other garbage caller, can still call and nothing is done when you report the caller or number to the authorities, which I have done multiple times. Waste of time!
National Automotive. Wanted to sell me an extended warranty on my car. (They obviously have a very old list of people and the cars they own[ed].) I listened to the sales pitch and asked them to send me a copy of the policy they wanted me to buy. The salesperson told me they had already mailed it to me. I told him it had escaped my attention and asked him to email or fax me a copy of the policy. He said they do not do that and that I should go to their website to see the policy. He told me the website is nasservcies.us -- which does not exist. I called back and there is a message that you have reached customer service, press 1 to be removed from the list. If you wait, the system hangs up on you. I called back and pressed one and they say your number will be removed from the list.
I have also been called before -- 2 years ago -- by "National Automotive" asking me to buy a warranty on a car I no longer own several times before this. One of the other numbers they called from was 657-202-9045. I asked to speak to a manager and was told I would be put on their do not call list. He even gave me a confirmation number.
I feel sorry for anyone who buys anything -- especially an insurance policy -- from these liars.
