Robo Caller - Debt Collector for someone who does not work here. They call all the time for this person. I pressed "9" to speak to a live person and have asked them a few times to take us off their call list. They continue to call from different numbers. Caller ID "Camden SC".

These people are scammers. They called me trying to get me to pay a debt that was beyond the statute of limitations here in SC. They lied to me about when the debt wad actually closed. I tried to get them to give me an adress for their office and to tell me who they represented. All they would say is that they were representing an office of mediation and that they weren't going to give an address to validate the debt. Do not ever give any money to antone over the unless you are absolutely sure who they are. Know your rights. Go to creditinfocenter.com and search the forums.
If you KNOW you owe no money, or believe the call was from a fake debt collector, please take the time to read this:

Or, if you want to read some very helpful information from another regular here on 800notes, who has done significant research into getting legal assistance for this type of scam, click on "BigA`s_Notes", below:
BigA`s_NotesYou need to send them a certified, return receipt "not me" letter (think of it as the best $6.47 you ever invested). Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it. Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter. You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to. Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment. If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it. Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):

Read up on your rights here and also make a complaint at this government site:

Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

They called me several times, I missed there calls, and like a dummy I called them back to find out what the deal was. They asked for my number then put me on hold, after a couple of minutes they hung up on me.i tried to call back and they block my number. I know they blocked my number cause I called on second phone at the same time I called from my phone and they answered on the second phone and the first phone was a recording that they were unavailable every time I called. Anyway when they answered on the second phone they answered with a different name and I told them I wanted to know why they were trying to call me. They were very persistent about putting me on hold and didn't want me to hang up, I haven't had any charges on my phone bill, still don't understand what the objective was, but seems very shady. Number was from Camden sc
