The caller, Moorpark, CA.( displayed as ID on my phone, called my c-phone @ 16:38, 03.16.2016. I returned the call hiding my home phone number 3 hour later. A recorded lady message. " Network Operation Center, the party you dialed decides not to take your call @ this time. Please add this number to your Donotcall list."
We opted not to answer unwanted call on the spot per 1.www.ftc.gov. ( www.donotcall.gov.) suggestion & the actual caller will get pay from employer
According http:800notes.com. above, people reported this unwanted number since 02.08.2016. In last 3 years , I received too many bogus phone calls from " Moorpark CA." I don't know any one in my neighbored mountain city- Moorpark, CA.
Another unwelcome call from this Moorpark VOIP arrived today, just 1 month and several days since the last call on Feb. 12. When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, just dead space.
This behavior is typical of illegal telemarketers who use automated dialers to place calls. If a live person answers, the dialer transfers the call to a live illegal telemarketer. Slick, eh? Legal telemarketers do not resort to such shady practices.
According to poster Dave (see above), this is a scam solar energy contractor (probably unlicensed), one of many who are trolling the phone lines in search of gullible victims.
DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM. DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.
