Within an hour of posting a piece of vintage furniture for sale on Craigslist, I received an email from Steven Varghese saying:
"Do you still have it for sale? If you do kindly text me on 8058240063 and also text the final asking price"
I didn't know about Steven's scamming nature at the time so I texted back the information he requested, and spontaneously sent a follow-up text saying "cash only, please". I never heard back from him. Then I decided to Google the name and was surprised that a scammer would change phone numbers but keep using the same name. Must not be very smart.
