I didn't answer because I didn't know number. After reading above, I don't owe anybody money. Well I do but I'm not behind on anything and never have been. No message left so probably a scam trying to get your card number then you will be in deep doodoo.
Got a call from this number, It is a collection agency, but honestly the person i was dealing with was very nice. I cant speak for everyone working there but the one assigned to my account worked out a deal where i saved thousands of dollars. I hate getting calls from collections but i am the one who is past due after all. My advice: call them back, lay out the details, and hopefully they will work with you, they did with me, and i saved money!!!
Actually i am in debt & i got 805-379-8500 number from one of my friend. This number belongs to one collection agency who will help me to overcome this problem. But i want the details of this company.
I got a call from this number. The guy seemed really nice and I thought I would finally settle on a credit card debt... until he said to send the check to a PO Box I felt weird about it. Then I looked up my credit report, and the debt they were trying to settle has already been wiped off my record... forget that!
Someone called identifying themselves as a representative of this company was was rude and threatening trying to collect an apparent debt from someone who used to be at the office location where I was visiting and answered the phone. I have reported this agency to our state's BBB and intend to have them and their tactics (illegal harrassment via phone) investigated in California as well. I am in tuch with several agencies there now to do just that.
