I didn't answer because I didn't know number. After reading above, I don't owe anybody money. Well I do but I'm not behind on anything and never have been. No message left so probably a scam trying to get your card number then you will be in deep doodoo.
I received a call from this number today and when I answered they hung up on me!! All I said was Hello. Guess I have an intimidating voice and I scared them off. We will see if they call back.
Have received several calls from a "Mr. Warren" at this phone number, has also used two other numbers. Trying to threaten us that they will be taking legal action on an $8000 debt which we don't have with a company we've never heard of. Total scam. Keeps leaving messages, from American Recovery Services or "the audit division of ARSI". Other numbers used were 805-496-7533 and 805-496-3513.
Someone named JOSE REVELES contacted our company's call center at our toll free number and asked for an employee, initially stating that it was his salesman. He said that it was regarding a "business matter." He provided a callback number of 888-395-2774 ext 2035 and even gave some bogus reference number to make it sound legit. He claims that our number is the one that the employee gave as his contact number....impossible! He said he was calling from "American Recovery Services, Inc."
I get calls every week or so from this compnay regarding some out of business company's accounts.... I have told them this is personal cell phone - but hey keep calling.... *YUCK*
