I saw this online add for "Shark Tank's Biggest Investment" or something like that so I checked it out to see what it was. Supposedly all 5 invested ina company that made a product that boosted guys you know what. Pay $5.95 for a 30 day supply. I started to fill out the online order when I saw in very faint and small print a link to terms and conditions. I checked it out before giving any credit card info and this was a subscription for about $90 a month, and based on what it said you were pretty much guaranteed to be charged the $90 on the free trial if you didn't return it within 18 days and then get a charge for another $90 a couple of weeks later. You were also agreeing to arbitration. So I got out of the site. The next morning I get this call from the number. It appears that any info you put into the form is retained by the company and they wanted to try to sell me again. Same promises. i told them, I am sorry, but I actually read the fine print terms and conditions. The lady was quite surprised that I read them and knew I was not going to buy anything and hung up. Be careful what you click online. even if you don't "submit" many of these people capture your info.
you are a smart cookie! thank you for posting this - you will save many others heartbreak and financial loss. I really despise these kind of tricks employed by scammy marketers
Thanks!! I think this explains it. I did something similar last night, and I've had a cazillion calls from this number this morning, (Sunday) even a few before 8:00am
