They call several times a day and don't leave a message. I googled the phone number and found out it is for SMS Research and Marketing Services, Inc. in Honolulu. They call people randomly.
They called me today, said it was a survey for Hawaii Health department.
I don't usually participate for surveys, but decided to do it.
The lady said I could refuse to answer any questions if I wanted to and when I did, she became really annoyed ( she asked about family income, cellphones, some other private questions, and when I refused, she said:"Oh, you are not a good candidate ", excuse me? Those questions HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH HEALTH!!! I did answer the health questions.
I've been getting calls that show up on my phone as "Out of Area" at least 2 - 3 times a day. I'm on the Do Not Call Registry, so I don't understand how these types of calls can get through.
