I too got several calls from this number. When I called back it said 'this number is disconnected and is no longer in service. After reading what you folks have said about this number, I hope they are disconnected. Sounds like a scam."
They called my work phone. I'm removing my work phone as an alternate number on all my credit cards!
The number on my caller id was 810-239-2665. Caller left her voicemail "hey guys this is Lisa Middleton here, hey we spoke on the phone last week about possibly lowering your interest rates or reducing the monthly payments on your credit card. So I want to get with you and let you to know that we did find a solution. etc, etc.
and ended it with this will be my last courtesy call so call me at 877-723-1426.
This is a solicitation, as I never called them, and this is the first time they have called me (per my phone logs, and at the 810 area code).
I'm pretty sure they got my work phone from, whatever agency Citibank used to call me about a missed payment. The agency that Citibank used was calling me often from caller id # 859-283-3677.
Got the same call, right around 9:10AM PST. Left voicmail, obviously a recording, supposedly from a Lisa Middleton... starting with "Hi guys, we spoke last week...." - NOT!
The entire message was about interest rates on credit cards, and how 'she' figured out a way to lower them to 1.5 percent and also how to cut payments in half....
Don't have credit cards, hence didn't speak to anyone about any... a-n-n-o-y-i-n-g marketer call!!! Call back number given was 1-877-723-1426.
Same "I'm Sorry" call for me just now. Best guess is the next iteration of "2nd and final chance for car warranty" and "Tom Gold". My guess is that they're just farming random numbers to have a pool of open lines for their operators to connect to, and if an operator doesn't get to a pre-dialed connection within a few seconds of it getting picked up, they know you're not going to hang around waiting to hear something long and flushes you to get another caller on the line and ready.
