Received a call from 810-339-4390 on 12/23/2015 at 5:43pm EST. Caller ID displayed "Flint MI".
Google Voice already has this number on their spam list so my phone only rang once and the caller was automatically sent to voicemail. No message was left.
Based on the comments posted elsewhere it appears that this is yet another number being used by the "Canadian Pharmacy" scam. I have been receiving calls from this scam since 2009 and have currently blocked 65 different numbers related to it. Interestingly, the last number they used was from the same area code and exchange (810-339-4019) and displayed the same caller ID (Flint MI).
I have added this number to my GV block list. If the same number calls again the caller will received the out-of-service message.
Got a call from this number it was automated voice stating from IRS! Looked on google apparently it is a scam, if the IRS contacts you it will be via snail mail.
I got a call from this number with a recording saying it was the "internal revenue service" office of heather gray and that it was important for me to call back before any action is taking against me. I called it back (same number) and it just rang and then said "the party you are trying to reach cannot take any calls at this time, please try again later"....Thinking spam, but how do you know? My husband is self employed so we deal with the IRS a lot and not sure if this is real or just spam, but being as the number is coming up as spam, I'm skeptical.
They said it was the IRS and I owed them money. Told me I could clear it up by paying 3,998.00 right now or take my chances on court..They told me if I went to court it could cost me 95,000 or 5 years in jail.
