Same here
hang up when recorder picked up.  Caller ID Almont MI

I didn't recognize the number, and the caller ID showed "Almont, MI."  I don't know anyone there.  Also, I'm on the Do Not Call list.  I didn't answer the phone.  No message left.

Got a call last night around 7:30 CST from this number, no vm.  Lame.

Answered the call at ~3p ETZ, no one there ... annoying

If you don't recognize the phone number... let it go to the voice mail or answering machine. Most times it's a robo-caller to see if the number is active and what time(s) you'll pick-up, so that in the future a company can call you back with a "live" call.
