Definitely a scam. received a text from
[email protected] stating - Alert-Due Security Reasons-Suntrust MasterCard is frozen...Call 813-222-8822. I called the number I have used to call Suntrust for the past 15 years and they stated that nothing was wrong with my card or account and reported the incident to their fraud department.
I then called Verizon to report the vtext address I received the text from.
These people need to go get jobs like everyone else and stop trying to rip people off. I don't have much but I'm sure not going to let anyone take what little I do have.
