I can't understand why ANYONE answers a call from a number they don't know. If it is important they will leave a message. PT Barnum said " There is a sucker born every minute". By answering unknown calls you could become that sucker. Just imagine what would happened to all the scammers if nobody answered there calls.
Thanks It seems to be very difficult to get people to understand how scams work. Curiosity - time - greed. Cornerstones of a good con. Curiosity to reel you in. Time to not think, but act to get something free. Simple as that.
Many people run businesses off their phone lines and we can't afford to know everyone single phone number that calls. And what happens if one of your friends move and have a new number and they want to call you and tell you it? you probably lose touch with many that way! sick of people who can't fathom anyone leading a life other than their own.
