Received an automated call from (813) 398-0279 on my home phone. Man's recorded voice said my Reader's Digest subscription was about to expire and to press #1 to renew at a discount or press #2 to cancel my subscription. I sat there quietly until the call disconnected, about 10-15 seconds. The recording never actually said it was Reader's Digest calling. Another scam from a third party trying to get me to renew my subscription through them at a higher price instead of renewing directly through Reader's Digest would be my guess. I have received these in the mail. Looks like they are using the phone now.
