This number has called me several times over the past month and because I didn't know it I never answered it. They would never leave a message, so when they called me this last time, I decided to answer it. The first thing they said was this call is being recorded and then the woman asked to speak to me (she did know my first and last name). Then I told her I was speaking and she said due to the confidentiality of the call could I verify my birthday. I asked what company she was calling from and she said something, but I can't remember what she said, but I had never heard of this company either. Then I asked what the call was regarding and she then said that she couldn't tell me because she needed to verify my information. I told her I didn't feel comfortable giving her any personal information and she then said that if I didn't feel comfortable giving my birthdate could I verify my home address. Again I told her no and that I did not feel comfortable giving that kind of information to someone who can't tell me why they were calling in the first place.
