Just got a call asking me if I want a government contract, Caller ID says FDI National but caller used Federal Dimensions in the pitch? He did not sound professional to say the least and when I inquired about some of the bad things about the GSA in Vegas, he hung up on me. When I Googled FDI National, there doesn’t seem to be much about them so I don’t think they are very experienced. However, when I Google Federal Dimensions, I get a whole lot of SCAM results and most point to the owner Cindy Bertoli, she even has her record posted on Rip Off Report and the company name came up with nothing but a bunch of information regarding scam. I guess he didn’t realize what a favor he did by hanging up on me.
This is where I found the booking records: http://www.ripoffreport.com/business-consulting/federal-dimensions/federal-dimensions-cindy-berto-fffae.htm
Beware of this company. They do not require an application be completed when they hire their employees. No background checks. Very general info filled out on vague application when hired. They hire callers to contact businesses to gather info and set appointments and then have the closers call you back to take cc info . They are in violation of Florida telemarketing regulations thru state ....none of their employees have telemarketing licenses, no background checks are done...they hire people off street. They are also in violation of US banking laws post 09/11 due to soliciting bank account and cc numbers. Do not do business with this company as they are headed up by Cindy Bertoli formerly of Federal Dimensions and a convicted felon – every time she sees bad stuff online, she changes the company name to hide and deceive. I agree with the comments above: Buyer beware
Got the call this morning – just like the others, looking for the owner and offering me a 5-year government contract. So I came here and then called them back and asked if they were FDI National or Federal Dimensions Inc.
They tell me that they have a partnership agreement and they work and handle the processing together but that they are actually 2 different companies. So I ask them how many awards they have and can I talk to a few clients to see how much money they have made after their award – silence...and then they said they’d have to confirm with their clients and get back to me, so far no call.
I also asked about this Cindy B. and was told to not believe everything you read on the Internet and that they are a Christian company with Christian values. OK then, God loves sinners too. This sounds very iffy to me, we’ll pass.
Caller left a voice mail on the front desk phone, for the company owner (instead of his extension). She was polite but said only that she would like the owner to return her call (left phone #). No mention of the company she was calling from nor any additional info but the caller ID listed listed FDI National. There were people talking in the background as though it were a call center. I'm glad I saw the info here, especially if this Cindy has a record like the one listed above.
Also got a call today. Curious, I was. WHY would the GSA be calling me and my business, out of the blue? We are on the Do Not Call Registry, and have NEVER done business with the Federal Government. After a few pointed questions, I cut to the Bottom Line of how their business/company - NOT affiliated in any way with the General Services Administration (GSA) of the Federal Government - works. And it IS a Scam, hiding behind an illegitimate intimation of ties to the Government.
What's in it for them? The $5,000 Fee to help you fill out the paperwork (100's of pages)! What's in it for me and you? A Fleecing of Americans! The Attorney General should shut this Scam down pronto! Buyer Beware - Cindy B. has her rap down pretty good. These folks are Wolves preying on the gullible and those unwilling to do a little quick, simple homework. Google Them, Danno!
If you dont want people to access your information then dont register with CCR, this is a government database. Therefore all information is PUBLIC RECORD. They dont have a team of hackers accessing your information in any illegal way. Go to the site, search your criteria and BOOM it's amazing the government gives you access to most of the info you put in your registry. You want the calls to stop then un-register with CCR.... Jesus you would think you would know what you were signing up for there. You have to put bank account info into that registration. People blow my mind. You take your taxes to a tax expert right?!? That isn't a scam nor is application prep. Which is what most of these companies do. Dont call it ALL a scam, some companies out there are legit and do help their clients to get on schedule with GSA.
