Caller ID identified caller as "Luana Shapiro" as many have noted also. 1st call - 5.6.16 at 1:25 p.m., Didn't answer, called back #-received message - "# you have reached is either disconnected or no longer in service.." 2nd call rec'd Saturday, 5.7.16 @ 9:51 a.m.-Picked up-heard what sounded like a woman from Philippines or similar country-thought unusual as most spam calls seem to come from India or Pakistan. Could barely understand woman - only word discernible was "Visa." I assume scam was going to be about phony Visa card issue. Can't block anymore spam calls on land line as I receive so many - phone has reached block limit. Hung up after directing several "choice words" at this scammer, including telling her not to call and that I know this is a scam.
After 4-5 call from Laura Shapiro @ 813-754-1789 (that's an impressive name) I answered the phone shortly after I answered a male voice asking me how I was doing, I said now what do you want, he told me I my computer had a virus and he was going to help me I told him I did not have a computer with agitation he told me I was responsible for anything that my computer caused I reminded him that my computer was hooked in with the sheriff's department. Said he is only trying to help and the line went blank.
Woke me up at 7:00a.m. on a Saturday morning. That's grounds for incarceration at my house. Same thing. Several calls a day from sweet Luana Shapiro. I don't answer if I don't recognize the #. Soooo annoying. Blocking doesn't stop them.
