Same [***] who have called from disconnected Block Buster lines and other lines, pretending to be from Google, total and complete scam...
Phone company needs to get a handle on a better way to hardwire caller ID to a line and/or device MAC address or serial# so that caller ID spoofing cannot happen, there has to be a better way than what is being used now and these scam artists are blatantly abusing the loopholes and cracks in the system
Our business gets a call from this number a least once a day. It says "to update your Google Listing press '1' to be removed press'2'.
I've pressed '2' each time and continue to get the same call. Very annoying. Reverse phone check says Circuit City but I think they have been out of business for years.
We get calls to our business from this number several times a day. We don't pick-up. If you call te number back you get a disconnect recording. Online searches say it is a number for Curcuit City. A&$wipes.
we get the same call at our business, the old "press 1 to update your google profile" and of course, press 2 to stop getting these calls. Naturally, they keep calling. They also use about ten trillion other numbers, because i've gotten the exact same call from so many other numbers i've lost count. It's a scam.
