Who called from 8173821198

This entire thread is filled with SHILLS who are not even in the USA!!!!!

Got a call from "Ray Brady" offering me lowered interest rate on my cc.

Visa/master card logo co. Also known as credit.com. Info on credit cards to lower interest. To my understanding they monitor the interest charge  by banks and request to lower interest on behalf of customers who pays on time and even more then the minimum every month. Called the number back to check it out but the ans machines says welcome center!

Apparent scam: claims to be visa/mastercard services offering to lower interest rates for qualified customers. Ask for credit card and ss info. Spoke with two people calling from an apparent local number. They both had very heavy accents, at least one seemed from India; said their names were Lisa and Jacob. On a previous call with same premise the caller had a strong African accent

I believe the callers are fraudulent and are vague about their connection with the credit cards they claim to represent. The first call gave me the phone number 8173821198 as the office in Chicago that I would be transferred to for more information. After trying to find that office in Chicago, I called the number and found it was from an office in Texas. I believe this offer from the caller is nothing more than searching for a way to extract personal information that they can use to make illegal use of in their interest. When telling them I would only be interested if I could meet face to face with them, because that is the only way I make decisions like would be necessary to work with them, they said they could not do that. Thus I consider this is a fraudulent way of attempting to extort personal information from prospective clients. Presently I am receiving several calls almost daily similar to this and they are all made by a foreign voiced person. Thus I have concluded that they all are attempts to scam those whom they call.
