Called numerous times. I answered and a person with a heavy accent introduced herself as Maggie Anderson and said she was with the manufacturer of my home alarm system. I told her I was reporting her to the FCC and hung up.
The old Windows Service Department telling me that my computer is sending out viruses. Not sure if I feel more sorry for the people that don't know about this scam or the scammers themselves for still trying to use it. While trying to decide, I've blocked the number on my call blocker.
Voicemail picked her up. You could hear the others in the phone bank in the background. She had a heavy accent, but never said what she wanted because she couldn't get me to pick up. Probably not the last I'll hear from her.
