**DO NOT GIVE THIS NUMBER ANY INFO** Claimed to be Sprint and asked for my PIN to be able to apply a discount for our loyalty. I asked them to verify they were spring and read me the details that they have about my name and address. He provided me with my maiden name and when I asked him to verify the address and other names on the account, he became flustered and asked for my pin again. I let him know that if it truely is a loyalty discount he would not need me to provide any information and could just apply it and I hung up on him.
Got call claiming they were from Sprint and saying my acct had been flagged for security reasons. Needed me to give my acct pin and billing zip. I pushed random numbers and they said thanks, the flag has been removed from your acct. Phone phishing. Scam.
They phoned this morning and I rejected the call without answering. Sprint isn't known for caring much what their customers experience so I didn't bother phoning them. I won't use their company services either.
The person said he was from Sprint and was offering a$99 rebate for being a long-time customer, but he also asked for my pin#. Big red flag! I called Sprint and they confirmed that it was fraudulent.
