Bill Woods, a telemarketer representing Woods Home Repair, is on the phone. He says he was following up on a call from last March and was seeking any home improvement projects I wanted done. I told him I did not recall that and asked him again what company, he replied with a different name, Woods Home Improvement, a family owned business started by his father 22 years ago he said. I told him I wanted more info on the company, and he said he could send someone to my house that would have their license, bonding and insurance details. I said bring it to me.
Just got my second call from this number in a week, and again no message left. Caller ID says it's from Sherman Oaks, California. Look folks, if I call someone it's because I want to tell them something or ask them something. If they don't answer I will leave them a message with that information or that question. Telemarketers don't leave messages because they know you won't return their call.
I answered the call thinking it was someone else from Sherman Oaks calling me. The caller claimed to be "Richard Anderson" a contractor who "spoke with me a while back about doing work on our house" (which is total lies of course!) I tried to tell him we are on the DNC list but he continued talking over me, so I just hung up.
