I had a voice mail from Verizon saying it was a customer service survey. There numbers have been hacked so I didn't trust it. I got a call from Verizon last week asking me to go to a website. Called Verizon and they know nothing about it.
As to call last week - I was told I had a $44 rebate waiting, and to go to my44verizon.com - instead, I called customer support (whose number HAD shown on my phone!); tech had received one other call regarding this - It IS a scam. The site appears genuine but my security image and phrase were not present. Hope this helps someone!
Just rec'd call from this number. ID showed number only, VM said this was an airtime free call and would only take a few minutes. It might be from Verizon as I had talked to Tech Support earlier BUT, if it is Verizon then they need to display their name. I'm not going to answer ANY calls without the name displayed.
Got a call this morning from this number and my phone indicated it was from the Northern Los Angeles Area but nothing else. I did not answer it and will not answer any calls from numbers I do not recognize and that have no display of their name. I do however have Verizon Service!
