Hey, everyone--another clever scam here, attempting to gain personal information from you all. Don't answer this number. Don't tell them anything. Block these people. Just another case of most likely the same group of scammers changing their caller id info and 'marketing' schpeel to get your personal information, and ruin your lives.
Received a call (twice in a row) from this number only to be greeted by a woman on the other end of the line with an extremely hard to decipher accent - possibly Asian. She said she was calling from United Airlines and that I had been randomly selected to win......something......something....Woodland Hills. I thanked her for the call but said I was not interested in the service she was offering. She promptly hung up.
This was some woman calling for southwest airlines, but I could scarcely understand a word she said. She sounded to be Indian or Sri Lankan, maybe Pakistani, but her accent was so thick as to be incoherent in American English. I tried to explain that I don't fly, and couldn't care less about the airline, but she couldn't understand that herself. She wanted to call me back, but I kept insisting that she never call me back, I hope she got the message.
