Well I have gotten calls from this number also, and 626-667-7722, and when I call them it says the number is disconnected. I talked with an operator at AT and T, she said that they are TELEMARKETERS who have an out going line but no incoming. Wouldn't an honest business want you to know who thery were - I think so. I don't answer unknown numbers anymore! Join in if you dare to send a messages to these slime that hide behind their phone.
Have received a call from this number several times. Same thing happens to us also. When I call it back it just says "your call can not be completed, this number is not longer in service" but when they called I could here them hang up.
This is weird...and should be reported.
Especially because our number is on the National Do Not Call List.
Well, I went to the Fair Trade Comission to put my phone on the don't call list and came across the folllowing:
"Scammers have been making phone calls claiming to represent the National Do Not Call Registry. The calls claim to provide an opportunity to sign up for the Registry. These calls are not coming from the Registry or the Federal Trade Commission, and you should not respond to these calls. To add your number to the Registry you can call 888-382-1222 from the phone you wish to register, or go click on “Register a Phone Number” in the left column of this page. "
