Incoming call from Northridge, CA using 818-435-0010 number.Allowed to roll to voicemail, no message left. Added number to my call block list via Panasonic cordless phone. Never to bother me again.
i got a call today from this number, and i answered because although i usually don't answer unknown calls, i was expecting a call and did not know how that call would i.d. when it came in. when i answered, a guy identified his name as jack dunn and said we had ordered a case of old english from circle liquors which we had failed to pick up. i did not identify myself as the person he was seeking to reach, and asked to take a message. when i asked for his number, he started with "818" and then disconnected. when i looked up circle liquor, it did not list a location with that phone number.
Looks like another spoofed number. Coming out of Chatsworth, CA or Agoura, CA.
Another telemarketer beating the system. We need to hold phone companies accountable
for the 1000's of bundled numbers they sell as a package. Oh, if we only had an FCC with
courage.
