Here's a thought - we have the Panasonic phone that blocks 250 numbers. We use the Panasonic phone to block local SO CAL numbers - 818, 213, 323, 805, 619, 714 etc. Each time we receive a new LOCAL telemarketer call, we delete the oldest number in the Panasonic phone (note that our phone is full - 250 numbers) and add the new number such as this one. Criminal telemarketers (yes, that's what they are) will likely only use the new, spoofed number only for a few weeks and then discard it. We also have the D***tone call blocker that can block entire area codes. We use the D***tone to block distant area codes. Should you have friends. family or business in a blocked area code - NO PROBLEM - simply invite their number into your blocker. They can call right through.
Called a little after 5:00pm. Left a recorded message about a "free" energy audit. When you are offered something "free" hold on very tightly to your wallet or you'll get screwed! Caller ID was "Out of Area". Spoofed number. Now blocked.
