Caller asked for an unknown person.  He repeated himself when I said there was no one by that name at this organization.  He then spelled the name.  He asked again for the same person, slowing down and pronouncing carefully, adding a title:  accounts manager.  I asked who is calling (fake vanilla name, from Phil Gray's office at Concur Technologies), placed the call on hold for about 30 seconds and checked my notes.  (This is the 4th call from Concur Technologies - every previous call has a different caller id, and each time they ask for a different person.)  I got back on the line and asked for a call back number. He said he could not provide one because he is always on the phone, he rushed to thank me and end the call.  But then I asked for the address of Concur Technologies.  He said he is not authorized to provide that information.  I told him that since he is unwilling to exchange information - like professional business people do - to not call again.  He said he would make a note of it.  They will call again - which is fine by me; I call it Job Security.
