Same as above only from Michael Payne. The text message is so informal I would never answer this in the first place and the second thing is Cyber Crime Investigation Department of Texas State. The State of Texas would not name themselves that way. I lived in Texas and never saw Texas listed anywhere in a business or government as Texas State. Also some of the the type spacing is off. I work for a communications company and this would be a bell ringer for our company if it was being sent through email to our customers.

I was told my account from a overdue Creditor was turned over to them to collect outstanding balance within 48hours or they will send my case to my local Sheriffs office for immediate arrest.. I questioned him so much that he ended the call but I will be following up with creditor too... He told me they ( creditor) can't call but have sent over 15-17 emails,when I requested verification of email address,he couldn't do this,when I requested why didn't the creditor just call,he said they don't call people?????

Just got the same text from so called "Rickey Clarke". The text came in from # 830-477-0504.
I looked up that number and it is a computer VOIP line. Then I also looked up # 830-494-3414 which is also a Text-Now VOIP line. But it is registered under the name: ROTAIRA, near Luling, TX.
It is a scam. VOIP lines can be created from anywhere in the world! And this phone number already has 2 ripoff reports filed against it!!!
