They call our office at least 3 times a week stating that they're from Illinois Business Development Office, asking if we are moving. When you say no they just hang up on you. Same annoying lady EVERY TIME!!!!

Called 8-10 times on both our cell phone and office phone. Claiming to be from statistic Quebec, asking question on our business. Seems to be an asian 40 y.o. woman
They just called stating to be from the Queensland business development office (Australia)
I saw the international number and asked their location, they were able to give me a location here in Brisbane but when i asked who their contact in our company was they hung up.
Same thing. I didn't notice the number the first time and took them at their word. Now I see it's an overseas number.

Started calling us after our office was advertised for lease. First time as anonymous number said they were from Queensland Business Development, when they called back again showing this number (forgot caller ID was left on!) it was the (generic) Economic Department. When I asked too many questions and told them I would report them to the ACMA they hung up. Time wasters.

Just called us in the UK on an international number claiming to be BT asking if we have moved recently. We have not moved and BT are not our phone provider.
They have called me twice now, saying they are from the "Ontario Ministry of the Economy" and that they'd like to confirm when my office is moving. When I asked why the Ontario government was calling from a California number, they told me that their attorney (not a Canadian term) mandated them to mask their number. I told them this was a scam and hung up.
