Calls from this number began in November w/almost daily calls and at times 4+ calls daily. Will not speak w/my husband, wants to talk to me. Will not say nature of call. Hangs up and calls later. This needs to STOP!
Because the 8:30 AM call was from SC, I answered the call. The guy knew my name and thanked me for being a Vet. He kept trying to fast talk me into giving him a pledge for his Vets organization. I kept telling him to mail me literature and he just kept talking over me. There is no way I would ever give out any information to someone who called me. He knew I was getting annoyed so he passed me on to his female assistant. She talked sweetly to me and said "just a moment while I pull you up on my screen". It became clear to me this was a scam so I told her to mail me the literature and I hung up. Evidently this is working for them because the comments indicate they have been doing this for a few months now. This guy evidently has a list of Vets and their phone numbers and he's preying on us.
