Yes, definitely a scam from low-lifes trying to get access to your computer (hence your passwords, credit card numbers, etc). They say they're from Microsoft, but Microsoft would never call you. Hang up and block them immediately. Also, report that number here so that others may benefit. Thanks!
Guy called and said he was from Microsoft and there was an issue with my computer. I told him I had noticed that my Commodore 64 hasn't been working since 1985 and could he help me with that. Told me to F*#k off and hung up. Lol oh well
I've received this caller's call two or three times already in 2017. Each time I'm told there is a problem with my Windows computer (I haven't used a Window's computer in over 10 years)
Same here called and this time i talked to the guy to see what he wanted. He asked me to tell him what button was next to the control button to see if I was using Windows and i could not take it any more. Started laughing and he hung up.
Caller ID showed "Arthur English" so I answered. Calling from a crowded room (probably a call center in India) and after a pause of a few seconds, the guy kept saying "Hello? Hello?" so I hung up.
Same as above. Pissed him off by laughing at him.
It must've worked. I got a call the next morning about 3am same voice but now and unknown number. Called me a MF'er and hung up
