Called my business once and asked us to called back but since the caller did not state what she wanted I thought I was a vendor and didn't call her back. So, someone has kept calling my business from that number every day (even multiple times during days. The caller ID says the person is calling from Newburgh, NY.
Ok I am making a guess here. I had the same thing happen, but after returning the call I did get someone to answer and told them someone tried to reach me from this number, she said ok please hold and sent me to a line that just kept ringing..
Me thinks - these people are hired by someone to validate call lists.. Someone bought lists of phone numbers and hired someone to check if the numbers are still active and if still person listed..
They updated db and sell this list as "Last confirmed (date)" to jack up the price to some sleaze ball marketing puke..
the number is collection bureau of the hudson valley. cbhv. They called me because someone in my apartment building owes money, and one of their tricks is to call any number associated with the building that the person lives in that owes them money. I even got a call wanting to know what kind of car my neighbor was driving. I told them to go play big brother somewhere else
I keep getting calls from this number.I called it back & . It said the company is CBHV?I have no idea who they are! I don't owe anyone anything. i don't answer any call from a number i do not know. Can't imagine why they are calling me. I think its total BS!
This number keeps calling my number about something concerning a person named Daisy May Marsh Brewer. I've had this number for over 10 years; when I first got it a creditor kept calling and asking for Daisy Marsh (I assume this is the same person). Back then I finally got sick of it and did the simple thing that they could have done ... I looked in the phone book for her and gave them her street address. That creditor had the sense to stop calling me. This 845-913-7499 number won't let me even respond ... they appear to imply that if I listen to the rest of the message that I am taking on some kind of responsibility for whatever this Daisy May Marsh Brewer has going on. Isn't that illegal? I don't dare to listen to the rest of the message! Can I take my phone to my local police station and have them go through this and have a talk with the caller about this harrassment?
I don't know how to get them to stop this when they won't even let me communicate?
