I get called from these people every day of the week.. some rant about "cardmember services" and "your account is fine but this is your last chance to lower your interest rate".. I finally got a "live operator" with a heavy accent. I asked who he was with, and he said we "respresent Visa and Master" (not card, just master.. eesh). I asked him to take me off of their call list. He said "you have over 4000 dollars on your credit card ma'am".. I informed him I do not have any credit cards in that amount, and that I was not giving him any information because he was not affiliated with my credit card company. He continued to yell over me, and when I demanded that he take me off the list, he said "you will get calls every day and we wont stop and there's nothing you can do about it". I then threatened to report them to the AG and the FTC, to which he replied "oh shut up!" and hung up the phone. Now you mean to tell me there isn't anywhere we can report this? And yes, I'm on the registry.
this lady said she called from card services and get this she called as my mom and I were going to go to my moms kidney doctor. She gave the same spiel lower your interest rate creepy calling when I was out the door on the bus and my mom is in kidney failure
