Who called from 8470000007

Just got my first call from the idiots at 874-000-0007.....3:30 this AM....woop-dee-doo...I guess I can look forward to many more!

I received a call from this number on 6/6/12 at 2:55am about credit card rate reduction or something. I reported it to the FCC via online form 1088C.

Thankfully this call did not come in the middle of the night, but it did interrupt me while I was under an editorial deadline.  So, I pressed "1" and insisted to be taken off their calling list and put on their do not call list.  The person who answered asked if I was on the federal DNC list, which of course I am.  He then started laughing at me.  When I said I am a professional writer who cannot afford to be interrupted, he said, "You're a professional writer?!?  Really?  Then I'm a professional rule breaker!"  At that, I unleashed some unprintables and hung up...I will report it to the FCC as John (above) did:  thanks for sharing that!

1:15 pm, 6/30/12   Disconnected call when the caller ID appeared.

3:10 p.m. 4th of July
Tried to block this call, but number transposes to 732-847-0000 instead of 847-000-0007.  Number comes up "Name Unavailable."  I am on Federal Do Not Call, will report to FCC.
