Who called from 8472017500

It was a recording that said "This number is being placed to validate the phone number.  Thank you for your time".  That is all it said.  It is out of Round Lake, IL.

Just so ya know...this is a third party verifying that the number you put on a credit application...or job application etc. is a viable number...Caller: HSBC Credit Cards

yes i just got this same call 15 min ago, am a  little worried on what is means is someone hacking my phone?

who is calling from this number,  its just a recording, that says,:This number is being placed to validate the phone number.  Thank you for your time".you can't call it back to find out, what is going on,is it a scam or a hack of some kind, i need answers
