This person called , no message, Wayne Woods on caller ID I don't know this person, but I did have a guy called about 2 months ago and told me to turn on my computer. I told him I didn't have a computer (of course I knew this was a scam) but he said turn it on and again I said I don't have a computer and I called him a scammer and hung up. Sometimes I like to play games with these idiots and if I can run up their phone bill.
I feel so bad for the person who actually has this number. This is a widow in Florida and I'm sure her phone gets numerous calls from irate people who call her every name in the book. Same as the poor guy in Utah and the Supper Club on the shores of Lake Michigan. These spammers not only try to get victims by their schemes, but also victimize the people whose numbers they spoof.
Calls at 9:28pm. Only answered because I knew the area code is in FL and my daughter is in that same area code on vacation. Thought it might be the condo she is staying in. Asian accent. When I said I wasn't the person she wanted, she wanted me to transfer her to Mr. (my last name). Lots of background noise, sounded like a call center. I hung up.
