This person called , no message, Wayne Woods on caller ID I don't know this person, but I did have a guy called about 2 months ago and told me to turn on my computer. I told him I didn't have a computer (of course I knew this was a scam) but he said turn it on and again I said I don't have a computer and I called him a scammer and hung up. Sometimes I like to play games with these idiots and if I can run up their phone bill.
Called identifying as itt tech support strong middle eastern accent says there is a virus on my computer. Called him a scammer and reporting to FBI! Land line cant block like cell calls
Phone rang @ midnight & I panicked (we have a family member in a nursing home following a stroke and anytime the phone rings late at night, its a stressor). A woman with a thick accent told me my computer had been sending messages to her for the last few weeks. I bellowed "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT TIME IT IS??" She said yes, but this was very important. She started babbling something about needing my IP address - that's when I hung up. I was so shook up, I couldn't fall asleep for another hour - by then was after 1am. If they call again, I;m going to be extemely annoying right back at them!!!
