I got a text from him looking to buy my craigslist bathtub. He offered 50$ more to take it off and hold it. I thought well this is a good deal then. Week and a half goes by and he sends a check for 1500+$ over asking price and tells me to cash it and give it to the movers. My bank told me that it was indeed a scam since who gives that much to a random person to ship something they have never seen and in hopes they will give the extra to the correct people. Charles Briggs as it turns out is mentioned in several scamd. It's too good to be true. Stay away from this scam. I reported it to the Post Office since it came priority mail.
