It is NFCU. On Feb 10, 2017, I got two calls at 12:54pm and 12:38pm. The caller hung up without leaving a message. I did not answer. On the third call, the NFCU Rep left a message.
I listened to the message and it was the NFCU Rep that I was recently interacting with regarding a legitimate financial transaction.
I agree with other posters who say this is a legitimate number. I asked NFCU to send me a cashier's check. They called to confirm the information I provided. No problems. It is unfortunate that there are so many malevolent callers, but this isn't one of them.
The high number of shill posts is a pretty good indication of a scam. If you are a member of a credit union, and you get this sort of call, always call the number on your ID card or the number on your official monthly statement. Never give out information to anyone who cold calls you.
