I'm up to 7 calls from this # today, at my work number. I'm no longer even bothering to pick up (I was leaving the receiver on my desk, not saying anything, till he hung up). How fun! (Sarcasm)
Male caller with heavy Indian accent, some background noise on his end.
He asked for me by name.
I said "You are speaking with him." He immediately hung up.
Like others have said, what good is the Do Not Call registry? It doesn't work!
I agree that he is probably confirming/verifying a call list.
I would give anything to be able to wrap my hands around the necks of people who do this and strangle them to death with my bare hands.
Received a call at 9:01 AM today. Indian male, background noise sounded like a boiler room operation, asked for (my first and last name). I asked what he wanted. He repeated his question and I repeated my answer. This went on four times until I finally told said "Yes, I am. What do you want?" He then asked if this was my phone number. I asked again what he wanted. His next words: "Listen, Lady" were the last I heard--at that point, I hung up and reported the call to the PA and National DNC registries. I don't expect them to do anything but still...
apoo called and asked my breast size and told me he just really loves breast so i hungup and his number was disabled when my coworkers called him back...
We received a strange call earlier today when I picked up an automated voice said "sorry I got the wrong number" then I started to receive calls from the same number noted in other comments and same complaints.
