Today a man with an Indian accent called me about my computer receiving an error message, and said he could help me, since I already know about this scam, I told him to stop calling me and hung up.
Scam companies use ordinary people's numbers. I suspect the number is a previous one that Kenneth Miller used to have. It's a foreign operated company and I doubt it's Kenneth Miller.
Obviously they use American citizen's names and numbers. Kenneth Miller probably moved or died. One scam used MY number and people who saw it on caller ID kept calling me.
I have been getting these calls from same guys for years. They use different numbers, cell phone numbers, and obviously numbers from legitimate phones. Someone used MY number once to make scam calls because people insisted my number was on caller ID and were calling me. They say they are getting error messages on my computer. I have told them don't call. I report them to Registry. Hang up. Or let machine pick it up. I once told them I don't have a computer and they still called. Can't we screen people getting American phone accounts or those stealing numbers from accounts of people who have moved or died?
