Does it do any good to call them back over and over? I get different replys....sometimes busy signal, sometimes the "press 1" message. Sometimes I get verizon telling me number is no longer in service.

Same old hang-up call scammer.
Another one of these typical calls with caller ID that names a city and state. All from the same scammers. If you call the number back you get a message that doesn't identify them, but says you can be put on their 'do not call' list by pushing a button on your phone, which is a lie, and if you do, it only confirms they've reached a working phone number. I just block all of these calls, so they only get one shot at calling me. They call every day from a different number using a different city/state CID.
Was woken up by this number this morning. Caller ID said "Survey". No reply when I answered. I have added this number to my call forwarding list that redirects calls on the list to the FCC hotline. They can deal with these pests when they call back (which they always do).
Is the 2nd hang up call within the last few minutes. Darn, I answered the phone this time, and was waiting to give out ALL of my information - credit card, medical insurance number, you name it! Got a recorded message that said "bye". Since ignoring such calls, and blocking such calls, seems to accomplish very little - have taken to giving out made up information. Giving out fake information has worked better to slow down the call rate than anything else. Ends up being an exchange of lies, and often I end up shrieking into the phone, simply because it is fun to do.
