I called the number back on a different phone. It is a "subscription special offer" service. You can remove your number from their database by hitting 1. Whether they will or not is the real question. I added the number to my BlackList app (android) so I won't get anymore calls just in case.

Got a call as well, picked it up to see who it was and of course an automated machine answers letting me know about a 'credit card hardship program'.... supposed to reduce my debt....
EVEN THOUGH I live in Canada (not the US) and my two cards have zero balance... so obviously telemarketing here... I pressed '1' to get to an operate to take my number off... and LOW AND BEHOLD after a few rings it says ' please hand up and try your call again ' .
what a waste of my time, but an even BIGGER WASTE of their own money
