FTP - No idea who they are or what they do....but they are not calling for any legit reason, its a cold call.
An EXTREMELY rude and whiny (it was almost comical) lady called today and asked for John. We have (withing the C-Level alone) 6 Johns. I asked which John she needed.
"Well, the owner of the company."
Red Flag #1 - She doesn't know who she is calling. I answer the phone for a holding company, so there are at least 8 different "owners".
I told her I answer the phone for several companies, and asked her which one was she referring to?
Red Flag #2 - She SLAUGHTERED the name of the company (it's phonetic, and not hard at all), which usually means she has no legit business.
good queston......................by virtue of the fact that you not only answered but actually called back
they are probably selling your number to other pain in the a$$ telemarketers....
And they call again. I picked up the handset, said nothing, heard loud call-center noise in the background and promptly dropped the receiver. STOP CALLING, ASSHATS!
