I was going to the store when this guy who was in his early 20's approached me. He was very energetic and was very polite. He said he was in this program that would help pay for his college tuition at UCF by selling a certain amount of magazines to earn points. My gut feeling said no, but he was persistent. I looked at the magazine list anyway and said maybe the Sports News. He then said that with that magazine I would get also a blanket of my favorite sports team. I should have said no, but I did it. The magazines for a year cost $52. I only gave him $26 in cash that I had on me and he gave me the receipt with the magazine name and with the sport team blanket I wanted along with the envelope to send it. He said the magazines will come within 2 weeks after the balance was paid off. Luckily my gut feeling lead me to look up this Millennium Sales, which showed me it was a scam. So with reading all the other comments posted, it saved me from losing any more money. I am just thankful it was only $26 and it was paid in cash, so they don't have my checking account numbers. Never again will I do this, unless it is from someone I know.

This is a scam, had two guys knock on my door just now in Central Florida.  Fortunately, I told them I would need a sales slip and research them.  They left without much of a fight.  This is a scam, I had two different people show up a year ago and I did order from them, but after researching, I called the bank and stopped the check informing the bank that it was a scam.  This is just rediculous.

I'm on the West coast of FL and had this happen to me today. I feel like such an idiot but figured out something was wrong after they left with my check. They were so polite and I really thought I was helping until I read these postings and called the numbers without getting so much as getting a business voice mail. I stopped the check immediately but am now afraid that they know where I live and have my bank account information. Did you have anything weird pop up on your credit report or bank account?

It seems we're all in the boat caving and getting a subscription, it's already been 5 months for me. I tried calling one of the many 856 numbers I found without an answer. I also contacted them through the form on their website without an answer.

HOWEVER, i just read that Millenium Sales is a branch of Interstate Subscription Services Inc. My roommate got herself into the same hole but her receipt said Interstate. They don't give out a number either, but we found one through googling - and they answered! And supposedly took care of her problem. I would suggest trying them - 210-340-0002.

I had this young black male come to my door selling books for college.  I listened and then i gave him $60.00 and ordered Childrens Book, it was almost 830 pm, thought that was kind of strange anyway he gave me this sales record and to this day, July 2, 2010 I have not heard anything.  So what is the deal?
Been SCREWED????  I have called the number just rings.
